brasshausmusic

brasshausmusic is an enterprise to keep Ralph R. Hall out of trouble.

In a long and varied career, he has found himself waving the wand in front of various ensembles and wishing the music they had in the library was of a better quality, or, in some cases wishing they had a library!

So, from top section brass bands to male voice choirs, symphonic brass ensembles to brass quintets, it's time to put all the arrangements/compositions on the www.

Some have been commissioned: the Fanfare/Prelude 'Northern Lights' for the British Horn Society. Others have been recorded: the Heller/Hall '3 Miniatures' by International Brass. Some have been utilized: BBC 2 Scotland have rolled credits over two arrangements for combined bagpipes and military band. But the great thing is - they have all been performed, including a Sousa march for horn quartet in Cologne's main sewer!

Even if you do not buy, there are things here to amuse, to captivate and antagonize.

Enjoy!
